Croc is back in the Fox Interactive offering, Croc2, and is now portable with this latest Game Boy Color product!

In this sequel to the original PC game titled Croc, the adorable little crocodile discovers that he may not be an orphan after all when he finds a message in a bottle on the beach.  The message contains a baby crocodile footprint and explains that the senders are looking for their long-lost son!  When he shows the message to his Gobbo friends, they all help make a jet pak that propels Croc to the distant mainland where he begins his search for his parents...and so the adventure begins!

Before he can defeat the evil Baron Dante, his arch rival, and find his parents, Croc must make his way through all four villages on the mainland...the Sailor Village, the Cossack Village, the Caveman Village and the Inca Village.  Each of these villages contains various stages, including three main levels and one boss level.  

There are also objectives to meet in each village, some of which include solving puzzles, freeing Gobbos from Dantinis and collecting items you will need later in the game.  It is very important to complete each objective so you can advance through the game and help Croc rescue his parents!

Keep a sharp eye out for hearts, crystals and other bonus items that will help Croc in his adventure.  There are 5 color crystals in each level and you will need to collect them all to complete the game perfectly!  There are other crystals, too, which can be used to buy other helpful items in Swap Meet Pete's Shop!

You'll find lots of things to buy in Swap Meet Pete's Shop...like Jump Jellies, Heart Pots, Robo Gobbos and Tail of the Phoenix.  Swap Meet Pete is quite a guy!  He has a shop in each of the villages and he can transport you from one village to another with his crystal ball!

Croc has plenty of cool moves that you will want to learn how to use...especially his new Comet Attack!  Be sure to find out how to do all his special tricks before you meet up with his enemies!

Well, it's time for you to find out for yourself just how much fun you'll have playing Croc 2!  This is one game that you will have a hard time putting down!

Although the game controls are easy to learn and master, this game can be quite challenging, which earns it a higher rating.

Concept:  8.0.  
As sequels go, this one is very nicely done and the adaptation to a hand-held console game hasn't hurt the storyline at all!

Overall:  8.5.  
Croc2 is chock full of addictive fun!  Kids of all ages will find this game one that they will want to play again and again!
