Top Movie Based Games
Movies and video games have been working together since the Atari days, but the relationship has more often than not been a tragic one for each side involved. Be it movies to video games (in the case of the infamous E.T. for the Atari 2600) or video games to movies (anything bearing Uwe Boll’s moniker), the track record for game/movie collaborations have been spotty at best. However, a few video games have released that have successfully bucked the trend, offering up compelling gameplay while retaining a faithfulness to their subject matter:

Scarface The World is Yours
A “What if?” sequel of sorts to the original classic film, Scarface does a great job of putting you in a large world and capturing the feel of the movie.

The Thing
A terrifying survival horror game, The Thing is an underappreciated gem that helped spearhead the current movement of spearheading older film IPs for video games.

The Warriors
A deep and complex brawler, The Warriors provided an exciting romp while paying loving homage to the cult classic film.

What about E.T?  Great list, I was very happy to see Riddick at #2, and it's hard to argue Bond at #1 even though I didn't like ...
