Top Ten Most Anticipated PAX Games
It’s that time of the year again, where gamers and press converge upon the city of Seattle for PAX 2007 to play a gamut of games, take each other on in tournaments, and catch concerts by artists like Freezepop and Optimus Rhyme. I’ve compiled a list of games that I’m looking most forward to getting my hands on at this year’s PAX, and I would advise anyone to give them a look.

Super Mario Galaxy
One game for the Wii that has eluded me at two separate E3’s that I have yet to play is Super Mario Galaxy. All accounts that I’ve heard have said that it’s a blast to play, but it’s been just out of reach each time it’s around. I’m hoping to finally grab onto a Wii-mote and see whether or not this will be the killer-app for the Wii that several people have said it is.

Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
The Ratchet and Clank series has always been a hit on Sony’s consoles, offering a unique take on the platforming genre and being compelling adventures for anyone of any age. Now that the series is gearing up for a PS3 debut, the initial looks are very impressive, with amazing graphics and fluid gameplay. I’d love to spend some more hands-on time with this title, which very well could be the must-have game for PS3 owners this holiday.

Tom Clancy's EndWar
With the Tom Clancy triumvirate (Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, and Splinter Cell) in full swing, expectations for the brand new EndWar franchise are extremely high. Hopefully PAX will divulge some more details as to what the series will offer not only to the Tom Clancy label, but what it could do for the sparse console RTS genre as a whole.
